How People Make Things

for Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh

How People Make Things was inspired by those great Mister Rodger’s “Factory Tour” films featuring the ways familiar objects are manufactured. The exhibit was divided into four sections: Cut, Mold, Deform and Assemble. Real machines (modified for safety, of course) let kids make stuff. The exhibition continues to travel to children’s museums throughout the country.
