for Jon Rubin

The Last Billboard is 36 feet long and sits on a corner rooftop in a quickly-gentrifying neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Every few months its curator, Jon Rubin, invites an artist or designer to contribute a short bit of text and then his team sets it up by hand in large wooden letters. Because I work with text each and every day, I decided instead to make a “constellation” with the eleven periods he had available.
