for The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust

I was asked to design a bike rack for The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Sixteen custom bike racks have been installed over the past two years and the Trust plans to do more. Mine is based on the Queen song my sons still sing whenever we go on a bike ride. The thin profile of the laser-cut stainless steel makes it almost invisible as you walk down the sidewalk—except for the shadow it casts on a sunny day.
