gallery guides

for Carnegie Museum of Art

I was asked to redesign the gallery guide format for the Carnegie’s Forum Gallery. In the past, the museum found that people were not taking the guides (even though they were free). A die-cut holder with an accordion-folded insert gives the new guide a perceived value. A consistency in size and typography allows one to build their own Forum library from the four exhibitions held each year. People seem to be taking them. 4.5 x 8.5 inch-sleeve, with a 24 x 8.375-inch folded insert.
