The curators used the theme of “play” to choose the artists. This catalogue references an instruction booklet you might get with a toy—no color, line drawings, simple type. But when you tear through the perforation at the edge of each folded page, you find color photos of each artist’s work plus some other surprises. 5 x 6 inches, 40 french-folded pages that tear open to make 80 total pages.
